I recently moved to Dallas from out of state. One of the first things I did was find a new hairstylist for my 10 yr old daughter and my self. I was impressed with Charlie and Co.’s website so I made an appt. Erica was the stylist that I had an appt with. I feel like it’s hard to put into words how AMAZING Erica is as a person and with hair! She really takes the time to understand what you want, examines your hair to determine its condition and such, is beyond knowledgeable, kind, super friendly and she takes her time to ensure you feel GREAT about your hair! My daughter absolutely adores her and she has helped my daughter, Noëlle, work with her wavy curls so that she’s confident. That’s huge! Erica has helped turn my hair around and as a result I’m uber HAPPY! I could go on and on! Thanks, Erica, you’re truly amazing!!! See ya next time!!!

I had my first appointment with Kelsey yesterday and cannot say enough wonderful things about her! She started off by sitting with me and discussing my hair goals in way that made me feel very seen and heard. It can be nerve-racking going to a new stylist, but I felt comfortable and safe with Kelsey right away. And she is just as kind as she is competent! She explained each part of our process, step by step, so that I understood what we were doing to my hair and why. It felt empowering to be so informed about each of the decisions we made.
I was on cloud 9 walking out of our session and am looking forward to booking with Kelsey again. I wish I had a before picture to share (she was crispyyy honey) but this is our after, and my hair looks fresher and feels healthier than it has in a long time. Thank you Kelsey!

I moved to Dallas about a year ago and stumbled upon Erica Brunson’s instagram page and decided to give her a go. Let me tell you I’ve never turned back. I came to her with crispy a** hair & overtime she turned me into a healthy long blonde (something I’ve never had considering my hair is thick and curly). She is the sweetest person you will ever meet & is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to hair.
Charlie + co is definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. They are artists.
I can confidently say you will be leaving the salon 10x hotter than when you stepped in.

I had some time to think about what I wanted to write. Let's just say this place is inconsistent at best. Last week I left with my hair fried off and that has never happened to me before. She proceeded to gaslight me to say it's because of my curly textured hair and that I needed a Brazilian blow out even though my hair is very fine and wavy. I should have said something in the moment but I'm sure my face said it all. Touching my now crispy hair and regretting every second internally. Not only did she fry my hair, she charged me $400 for a service I had done twice before with it being $290. I wanted to laugh out loud, really. I tipped her a hundred and I'll happily never step into this salon again. Not to mention the whole culture of this space is nauseating. Either, no one likes eachother or these stylists need a class on creating a healthier working environment. The catiness is overwhelming and I even over heard stylists making fun of clients who have fragile scalps ?

My entire experience was amazing! First and foremost Desarae came up with a game plan and fixed the worst bleach job I've ever had from another stylist. She was really professional and sweet.
The entire staff impressed me as well. The assistants were constantly moving and making sure the stylists always had help, everyone seemed to work with a team mentality which is something I don't usually see. Austin styled me out, I was really impressed that he wasn't rushing me out the door like we were in a factory, that is another thing that most salons don't do.
I also appreciate that no one from the receptionists and beyond had attitudes. There is a very clear difference in the way everyone is trained than other salons.

I love this salon! Seriously won't even consider going anywhere else. Nick Merola is my stylist and he is fantastic. He has such amazing vision and always nails the color perfectly. The assistants are also wonderful and the whole salon is a vibe.

Don’t come here if you have curly hair, they have no idea how to deal with curly hair or how to straighten it. I got a Brazilian smoothing treatment and they still weren’t able to style my hair correctly. I would always go home and finish the job myself. went to this place 4 different times to get the hair color that I wanted. I had an orange blond color and wanted to go full brown with a blond money piece and the person that did my hair just made it lighter and did whatever she wanted even thought I showed her picture of what I wanted. I had a hair cut appointment with them for a Saturday and cancelled before then and they went ahead a charged me 50 no show fee on a Thursday which makes no sense. When I called to request the refund they made it seem like the appointment was on Thursday ans they had called me several times. After that the receptionist said “let me just refund these $50 because you clearly need it “ so disrespectful don’t come here unlesss you are a blond and straight hair
