I rented an apartment with Grand and Co and it was easy, simple, straight forward and honest from what I experienced. They stated the positives and negatives of the apartment before seeing it and all of it turned out to be true. They said the price was really good which I always take with a grain of salt from a broker but after seeing the apartment it was definitely a fair price. I talked to someone on the phone then someone else showed the apartment and it all went really smooth. One of the better experiences I have had with brokers in the NYC. I would recommend for sure.

I had a terrible experience with the agent Ryan he didn’t even present anything in the apartment and he just complained the whole time. He didn’t even say bye. Really disappointed at this agency they have beautiful apartment but they need to do a real work on their salaries.
Oh and I forgot. On websites like street easy they lie about the size of the apartments.
If you want to do business with them good luck.

David Shapiro is a not professional at all. I found properties on Showcase for lease that he is the exclusive agent for. I reached out and called his office on a Friday and I was told he was busy but would call back later. He never did. I called his cell phone on Monday and left a message about my interest in seeing three different locations. Again I got no response. I texted him on Tuesday and obviously got no response. If you don’t want to be bothered showing properties or even bother returning a call THEN WHY ARE YOU A REAL ESTATE AGENT!!!! Please do not waste your time dealing with this office if he is the boss and conducts himself this way imagine his staff.
