The people are nice but the postal uniforms are extremely poor quality. The rain jacket which is 60% of my uniform allotment broke within the first day of usages. And the pants are the worst. They fall apart around the legs. The poorly designed buttons holding the pants together break, and the pockets get ripped due to the arrow key.

First-time customer and I was grateful for the service Joe provided me. I was looking for postal items, and I was happy that the section was well stocked and very organized. In addition, there is ample parking available. I now know where to go for my future postal needs. Once again, thank you Joe!!! 👍🏼

Well folks, unfortunately this store treats their customers like "New England" is the only game in town. And actually they are. There are not too many places that are brick and mortar where you can go and get uniforms and equipment nowadays. But when you go into a business, where you're really paying TOP DOLLAR for everything you get, one should feel like you're appreciated. Not the case here. I've given this place so many chances but today was indeed the last straw. I ordered a shirt for embroidery and an iron on insignia on the back. This was on July 27. I asked if there was ANY way they could rush it for a community event I was running and they told me no guarantees because it was about a week until the event and his decal person was out for a week. Understandable of course. SO about 2-3 weeks after dropping off the shirt I stopped by expecting it to be ready. The embroidery was, the back of the shirt was not. I told him the shirt was there for 3 weeks and he told me that it should be ready by next week and that I was "lucky". Keep in mind this person should have supposedly been back a week after I dropped off the shirt. Today I come and pick up the shirt and they cannot find it. After 15 minutes of waiting, they finally bring it to me, no apology, and with a big smile on their face.
Another thing, if you want something and they don't have it in stock, expect to get some kind of ridiculous expected date when it "MAY" come in (4 months, 6 months, etc.). And you'll also get a "don't call us, we'll call you" with an attitude when you order something.
If you have plenty of money to burn and don't care about customer service then this place is for you. Unfortunately the clientele that shop here aren't rich, and most, like myself are trying to hustle to make ends meet. The internet is a wonderful place. You can order the same stuff they sell, faster and most of the time cheaper than they do.

Gentlemen, I hope you change the way you do business, because some day (more than likely very soon) you will realize your mistakes and it will be too late....

I'm very patient and avoid writing reviews but Dec 14 I asked for 2 hats to have patches sewn on them. Called a few times and was told they would call me. At this rate I'll have these knitted hats ready for spring. CT Uniform has fast turnaround with less employees and this job could've been done in 3 minutes by Lids if I had the patches.

Update: I was called today and to my surprise my order was incorrect. Wonderful.

Incredibly rude staff and slow service. My boyfriend and I went on two separate occasions for two orders. The first order was placed in August for one wallet; we were told 4-5 days for that. The second order was place on September 7 for an embroidered hat; he was told it would be ready the next day. The hats were not ready on 4 days later and the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly rude, dismissive, degrading, and was clearly annoyed that I had placed an order and actually expected to pick it up when I was told it would be ready. The gentleman accused me of making things up and told me the date that we ordered the wallet, which was still not ready. He then told me in a curt tone that the hat would be done that day rushed. The hats were clearly rushed because the embroidery was off center and strings were hanging out all over the place. However, the man who did the work was very nice. Then, I called back about the wallet that was supposed to be ready in 4-5 days since it had been 5 weeks and was brushed off every time. Finally, my boyfriend got a call that it was ready... 53 days later. He arrived to pick the wallet up and the staff told him they couldn't find it. He waited and waited until they finally located the wallet.

Sadly, this store is completely unorganized, the staff is bothered when customers want to purchase things, and they can't handle simple orders. I understand the staffing and inventory issues facing everyone these days but my experience went way beyond that. Pitiful. I ordered him another wallet from a different store and it was ready in 3 days. I will not be returning to this store and sadly cannot recommend that anyone does either.

I have been shopping here for my entire almost 24-year career. This place does a great job of taking your order and payment. But that is where the great stops. I placed my order on 7/7/22 - it is now 9/22 and I am still waiting on my order. I called a couple of weeks ago to check on the status, and received a pretty snide remark from the man who answered, "Well, if it were ready we would have called you." Not only was this rude, but it was also inaccurate. I had an order there a few years ago, and I after it took a long time with no call from them, I stopped into the store on my day off and guess what? It was there and ready. So enough with the attitude NE Uniform - your inability to provide timely service does not give you the right to talk to your customers like that.

This is a SINGLE extra work shirt for crissakes, and they can't even handle that in a timely manner. If I don't hear from them soon, I'll be asking for a full refund and going to Fairfield Uniform instead.

Ordered a pair of boots back in May paid in full. Within that time they failed to update me on the status of the order. I Had to call several times for a update with no clear answer. By July I had it and disputed the charge. Typical lazy and slow. Only bought from them out of convenience just Awful. Will never go there again.
