I experienced horrendous service as a first time user of the pick up/drop off service. After including a note asking for my light wash to be handled with extra care it was returned to me stained with pink/red ink - destroyed. I contacted the front desk told and asked to be refunded. They informed me that only the owner can handle refunds and to wait for him to give me a call. Days went by and I never received a call. I called to follow up every day and every time I called I was told that the owner was “on a plane” heading either back into town or out of town and couldn’t be reached for a couple of weeks (they couldn’t keep their story straight). I was told that I would actually need to schedule another laundry pickup for my clothes to be inspected to determine whether it was MY fault that my clothes came back ruined. I don’t think they had any intention of taking responsibility. On top of all of this, the service was ludicrously overpriced. More than double what I usually paid at my last service. I could not recommend less.

Great service but the machines made my clothes smell so terrible. I ended up having to toss 2 of my shirts because I could not get the awful smell out for the life of me.

Can’t recommend this place enough - I’ve never had a good experience with laundromats but this place was definitely an exception! FREE drying, AC, friendliest laundromat staff you’ll meet, working WiFi, lots of seating and a squeaky clean environment. The washer prices are so so good given that drying is free (small:$2.50, medium: $3.50,$4.50, Big/HUGE:$8, $10.50). If you live in the area, you should definitely make this your go to for laundry 🧺

One of these nicest cleanest laundromats I've been to. Especially for NYC.

You could definitely hang out here comfortably while your laundry gets done.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Sent clothes into be dry cleaned and came back washed and folded. Clothes were delicate and now are ruined. The owner avoided my calls and never contacted me to make up for their mistake.

Would give them 10 stars if I could. When my mom was hit by a car and I had to travel out of town, they were so empathetic and kind! They VOLUNTEERED to hold onto my clothes until I got back (no extra charge!). Can't thank them enough for giving me one less thing to worry about!

UPDATE (9/18/2024) - I have to agree with the other reviews. The service used to be great, but now there have been more than a few times that my clothes have been returned and they don't smell quite clean. Am looking for a new service.

Used to be the best pickup and drop off service in the neighborhood but a few months ago my clothes started coming back smelling musty with an overpowering cheap dryer sheet scent 🤢 still trying to find a new place to do my laundry. Such a shame this place went south so quickly.

Update: I’ve started going to Bushwick Suds on Bushwick & Johnson aves. They are brand new and very attentive and professional. If you’re dissatisfied with R&H, check them out! They do drop off as well as pickup and delivery.

Been using them for almost a year now. Lost multiple of my shirts, kitchen aprons/napkins, pillow cases, personal items etc. Twice they brought me someone else’s bags and gave mine to a stranger. The owner resolved the issue but they lost my grandmother quilt in process of returning my things. The owner was also very apologetic and gave me a discount for the next time I use their services. This last time my pillow cases came with stains, comforter had holes and I’m just done being nice and giving them my money when they can’t even wash items properly in the machine.
