If I could give them Zero stars I would!!!! Like most here my policy was sold to this fraudulent insurance company by Allstate. The level of incompetence and lack of accountability is astounding. Run Forrest Run. This company needs to be reported to the Better business bureau they are an absolute scam!!!

I had to pay them $25.00 for a copy of my Life Insurance policy. Which by the way was sold to them by Allstate. (Thanks Allstate)
They did not send me the copy after I sent the money. I had to call numerous times before I finally got it. When I did finally receive it, the terms of the policy had changed so dramatically that after I turn 69 years of age I would no longer be able to afford my premiums.

My experience with this company is horrible, they don't send bills. It's almost like they try to make the policy lapse. Allstate sold my two term life insurance policies to this joke of a company. This company has no online website you can make payments to, they don't except credit cards, something seems very strange about this company. I am going to look elsewhere for a reputable company that I can trust that they will pay the policy out if we should need it. "Stay Away From Wilton" I would give them a zero star review if it would let me. I definitely don't want Wilton insurance company to be my neighbors.

I put a one star because a zero star is not possible. Wilton Reassurance Life Insurance Company of New York recently paid my elderly father on the death of his oldest son who had a policy. Six months later, they are writing letters telling my father that they overpaid. When I requested a copy of the original policy with my brother's signature to scrutinize their claim, they tell us they cannot provide a policy that is closed. If it is closed, why are they still bothering us, and refusing to satisfy our natural curiosity about their unsubstantiated claim? Are we supposed to just trust that they overpaid us? We don't have our deceased brother's original policy. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They are distressing my elderly father after his dearest son's tragic death. They have no conscience. If they only cared enough to prove their claim, we would take responsibility for the repayment. Not to mention that their payout check said explicitly "this is a final settlement." We were trusting enough to accept that final payment stipulation, but they don't want to hold to it. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!

One star because is not an option. By worst and that’s and understatement of how bad this company is. I never approved the debit from my account after the sale from Allstate. They can tell me all they want that they sent me paperwork, but none was sent and then I asked them email it to me, they send another customers information. Breach!!! They should be shut down. Time for a class action suit!!!!!

This company is a complete scam, not a real company. My life insurance moved from Allstate to Wilton Re. No customer service, will not issue me a partial surrender check. I call every week and there is always some excuse. I have stopped all payments and am in the process of seeking legal council.

My two policies and my wife’s policy were sold by Allstate Life to Wilton Reinsurance and thus far the service, billing customer service is absolutely horrible.my mother also had an Allstate policy and this is problematic as well. Bills are not sent out and we have to make called to get a bill. Checks sent in are not cashed and seem to disappear . This far I filled three Insurance Department complaints. Annual statements were not received on any of the policies and the billing is a nightmare. Call customer service and you get an idiot in the Philippines that could not care less. I’m actually thinking of surrendering these policies for the cash values as I believe collecting a death benefit may be difficult. They need to get their act together.

I can attest to all the previous reviews listed here. Also, our policy was sold by Allstate to this company and haven’t been able to get far in trying to reinstate my policy after they cancelled it even though I filled out all the required information in the packet. For some reason, they reinstated my husband’s policy and said I missed the deadline. I gave up after multiple calls and hand written letters and I’m taking out a new policy. Seems like Allstate isn’t to be trusted for future life insurance policies either. The entire experience dealing with this company who has no website has been exhausting.
